Marching 4 Babies

The DeKleva Family
Team

It is hard to believe that this is the third year we have participated in the annual March of Dimes walk. This fundraiser has been very important to our family since the birth of our premature triplets. We send thanks too all of you that have supported use by either walking or donating money and time to aid in our journey toward our goal this year. Our family was able to raise $1450.00 to help in the progression toward preventing prematurity and too aid with research to give those babies who need additional support a fighting chance.

A picture of the boys standing in line in the Triple Decker stroller waiting for the walk to begin. Our family and friends that joined us on our walk this year where:

Grandpa Ron, Priscilla, Grandma Janie, Grandad Dennis, Bernadette,
Auntie Kelly, Lana Travao, and the Farrell family. (Jeremy, Melissa, and Kaliegh)

We where able to join up with our great friends Amanda, Paige, and Levi. (The Yussman Triplet Team) You are a blessing from God and I thank you for your friendship.

After the walk we shared a lunch in the park and meet up with Ellen, Clayton, and Colten Durrer. After lunch the boys enjoyed every minute of playing with Clayton, Paige, and Levi in the playground.
It was a beautiful day that we were able to share with those that are very special and dear too our heart.

Logan's day with daddy fishing

Daddy and Logan's special day together. On Sunday's while mommy is busy at work daddy has the privilege of spending the day with one of the boys. Trying to alternate every week and this week it was Logan's special day. I being a Little nervous about the up coming day soon felt much better after a phone call that assured me that Logan was quite the "LITTLE FISHERMAN." As you can see Logan giving daddy a few tips on how to fish. He must have a great teacher by the look of his technique and form.

Logan fished the whole five hours only to stop for short periods one in which he feel asleep in the 5 hr zone and took a quick 40 minute nap under daddy's legs while driving the boat to a new destination.

Daddy says Logan was a trooper and loved fishing and he would enjoy taking him anytime. Maybe next time he will catch more fish then daddy. He kept his life jacket on and his hat and never complained once about it. Everyday for the past week he has woke up and all he can say is "boat dad." "boat dad go boat dad."

Easter!

Three little boys all fighting for the chance too see what was awaiting outside. Could it be the Easter Bunny knocking at the door. So much excitement from one house until the door opened and there reactions where quick to change.

Ryan being his happy and giggly self could barely stand with out falling he was so excited from the bunny. Although a little unsure when he first arrived it did not take Ryan long to warm up when he had gifts to give away.

On the other hand Logan and Owen hid behind me most of the time the bunny was visiting us. Owen was glued to my leg or someone else and did not get to close. Logan found himself closer and closer but I think it scared him when he became to close. So So Cute and so funny too see how differently they all reacted.

There was no getting the boys close enough for a picture with the bunny so instead we decided on a group picture.

The Easter hunt was on. Ryan picked up fast to the ideal and loved hunting for Easter Eggs. Owen wasn't very interested at all. After finding a few Easter eggs of his own he decided to re hide them in the ground where daddy had taken out the wood post that held up the tree in the summer. Boy will daddy have fun trying to dig those out of the ground before they rotten and smell this summer. Lets just say that Logan was interested more in the Jelly beans that he found in his first fake egg and left the others to search for the rest of the eggs. The Easter egg hunt was over but Ryan continued not only to search for eggs but he also stole all of his brothers eggs while in the process. I do not think his basket could of held one more egg. It was so heavy he had to drag it from one place to another. So cute!
Can't wait for next year.
Thank You,
Easter Bunny

Easter Egg Dye

What an experience this was, dying Easter eggs with three two year olds. Thank goodness we wore old clothes and it was outside. I can not tell you exactly how many eggs actually made it through the dye process and into the container not broken. Many of the eggs were dunked twice or three or even four times in multiple colors.

They had a great time at Auntie Kelly's house. At first they thought all the pretty colors in the cups where juice. Boy did they soon find out that the juice did not taste very good. Thank goodness on the box (largely printed) is in case of accidental ingestion: DO NOT PANIC

Owen Loved every minute of it. He also seemed to spill the most. By the end of the day every hand and finger also including mine must of been stained a different color. When we finished our eggs Owen was off finding others to dye. A true artist with his paint brush in hand playing in the egg bowl full of dye.

Logan liked trying too see how many eggs he could fit in the same container. I could barely keep up with the three of them. I trying to keep one egg minimum in each bucket, trying to catch the spills from happening and then once they occurred trying to clean them up. What a fun day but exhausting too.
